- The operator is not responsible for items left in the locker room or lockers.
- The hangers in the lockers are property of the club and must not be taken.
- The sauna can be used at your own risk, following general sauna rules.
- Do not leave trash in the lockers after leaving.
- Report any issues in the wet areas (e.g., clogs, major dirt) to the reception immediately for prompt repair.
Sauna Use:
- Showering Before Sauna: Always take a shower before using the sauna. Feel free to use soap or shower gel before entering the sauna.
- Proper Attire: It is forbidden to enter the sauna with clothes on (including underwear and swimwear). It is also forbidden to stay in the sauna wearing underwear, swimwear, slippers, or any other clothing. Cover the trunk and intimate areas of your body with a towel. If this is not possible, follow the local rules and regulations, which you should familiarize yourself with in advance or on-site.
- Hygiene: Never sit or lie on the wood with a bare body. This is not recommended for health reasons either. Lay the sauna towel on the wood so that it covers your entire body, preventing direct contact with the wood or other seating areas.
- Sauna Slippers: Leave your slippers outside the sauna, near the door. Never sit on the benches with your slippers on.
- Quiet in the Sauna: Sauna sessions are a meditative and relaxing experience. Loud, tasteless, and continuous conversation that disturbs the peace of those enjoying the sauna is prohibited. This applies both to the sauna itself and the indoor and outdoor relaxation areas.
- Hourglass Use: Only set an hourglass for yourself if one is available. If there isn't one, keep track of time by other means. If an hourglass becomes available, you can set it for yourself unless someone else needs it.
- Closing Doors: Ensure that the doors of the sauna, steam room, tepidarium, or infrared cabin are always closed behind you.
- Sauna Oils and Infusions: Sauna oils should never be placed directly on the sauna stones. Instead, drop them into the sauna bucket located in front of the sauna. Before using sauna oils or performing infusions, ask the other users if they approve of the specific oil. It's important to name the oil’s scent and content clearly, as it may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Even if all users agree, use no more than five drops of oil. After the infusion, pour out the remaining water in the sauna bucket into the shower, and refill the bucket with fresh water, placing it outside the sauna near the entrance.
- Temperature: Heat rises automatically, making the top bench the hottest area in the sauna. We recommend beginners start on the lower levels. Before your first session, ask our staff for help with the instructions.
- Liability Regarding Sauna Use: Lite Wellness Club is not liable for any accidents that occur in the sauna. Those medically prohibited from using the sauna are not allowed to use it.
- Consumption in the Sauna: Food and drink are not allowed in the sauna.
- Children in the Sauna: If children wish to use the sauna, please ensure they also follow the basic rules.
Sauna Ritual:
- Take Your Time: The sauna experience will only be effective if all phases of the ritual—heating, cooling, and resting—are given enough time. This generally takes at least 1.5 hours but can extend to 2-3 hours. It's best to sauna in the early evening, neither on a full nor empty stomach.
- Have the Right Gear: Bring at least two towels (or one towel and one sauna sheet), slippers, and optionally a bathrobe, shower gel, and body lotion.
- Preparation Phase: After undressing and removing jewelry and watches, thoroughly shower and dry yourself.
- Heating Phase: Enter the sauna equipped with a sauna sheet or towel. If a free hourglass is available, you can set it for yourself. Choose a seating height that feels comfortable. A short but intense sweat session is more beneficial than a long session at a lower temperature. It’s best to lie down on the bench. If there's no space, sit and pull your legs up so your entire body is exposed to a uniform temperature. About two minutes before leaving the sauna, those lying down should sit up to activate circulation. Leave the sauna as soon as it feels uncomfortable. Generally, stay in the sauna as long as it feels good, but no longer than 15 minutes. During the heating phase, you can lightly scrub your body with a loofah.
- Pouring Water on the Stones: Typically, the person closest to the sauna heater will pour water from a wooden ladle onto the hot stones. The use of aromatic oils is debated but common. You can use scents such as mint, lemon, or eucalyptus. Always use high-quality sauna oils and mix them with water before pouring them onto the stones. The resulting steam can be enhanced by waving a towel to intensify the heat.
- Cooling Phase: The key to sauna use is the hot-cold shock. Whenever possible, step outside into the fresh, cold air—perhaps even into the snow during winter. Then take a cold shower, starting with your feet and hands and moving toward your heart. Don’t forget your head.
- Resting Phase: Enjoy sweet relaxation after your session; don’t skip it! Rest for at least 15-30 minutes, lying down in a place that’s neither too cold nor too warm. Relax!
- Finishing: Afterward, you can take another session or two, if desired. If not, take a warm shower (you can use a body scrub), and apply body lotion or face cream. After sauna use, drink water or diluted fruit juice to replenish lost fluids. Eat light foods.
- Elderly, Pregnant Women, and Those with Medical Conditions: Sauna use should be cautious and gradual, and only after consulting a doctor if necessary.
The current House Rules of Lite Wellness Club are available and can be reviewed by all guests at the reception of Lite Wellness Club. By using the services, guests simultaneously accept the House Rules.
